Boulder Defiant R redux

Hi all.

A few pics of my rebuilt Boulder Defiant R. Completely different build from last time apart from the brakes and seatpost. Frame has been given a fresh powdercoat after I crashed it on its maiden voyage a few months back. I did like the green but it chipped to easily and as I have a no garage queens rule from now on I wanted something that will take the knocks. Forks have been rebuilt with a new left leg as the other broke around the arch and had a hole in the side of it (thanks to MJN for the Karma leg). I managed to increase the travel by another 8 mm too whilst it was apart.

'Reflex'

I assume that is a bespoke rear shock?

Its Boulders own rear shock and very simple to work with. It unscrews from the frame with the same size pin spanner you get with a 9" Grinder for servicing. The link to the swingarm is a Motorcycle chain split link and spring rate can be changed by unclipping said link and twisting the damper rod right to stiffen or left to soften. Very simple and quite effective.
