I doubt anyone is going to take the piss, it was a cool bike and a worthy winner and, as you said, you're not hocking your own stuff on the back of the win. If only it was an inch smaller and I was a little bit richer.....

Which ... old ... school ... builder?

Supposed to be a secret so I can (bam!) on the forums. But he started in CA and slowly, somehow made his way across the US and now builds stuff a couple states up from you. I had pestered him for close to a year to build me one small part. I finally had to come up with an offer he couldn't refuse! ...expensive, though.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I was going on the assumption that if I saw somebody eBay a BOTM in this little time I would be wondering. So, I thought I should explain myself.

I feel that I have been a pretty good contributor and I wouldn't do something like this if I didn't have to.
