Bontrager Race wheelset, front and rear, came on my Gary fisher X-Caliber, 1999.
Used. There is wear to rims but still usuable - still loads of life left. I am guessing maybe they are about 1/2 way gone.

Front skewer is chunkier than the standard one - could be 9 mm?
No idea what they cost new.
Bad news - when I took them off to fit disc wheels, I cleaned both wheels and noticed that the rear rim, by almost every eyelet on non-drive side, has a small split. (photo shows worst example). :twisted:
No idea how long ago this had happened but I had been riding them to work prior for several months and have had no problems but this rim should be replaced. Rim runs true.
You are effectively buying the hubs, spokes, skewers, rim tape and front rim.
For sale at £ 30 ono plus postage.

- I've relaced wheels (not these) 3 times with the same spkes without any probs.
