Bontrager help

Hello people, I have an old Bontrager complete with full Shimano xtr.Now the thing is I am no bike nut so I have no idea what frame it is or indeed from what year - I bought it from a friend around 2003. I basically now need to get rid of it as I rarely ride it anymore having bought my first full sus bike in 08 - and the wife is pestering me about space in the spare room!

If I posted some photos on here would any you peeps be able to help me?

If you want to identify what it is then post some pics and details in here, someone will identify it.

If you want to find out how much it's worth then post it here in "the one and only what's my XYZ worth" thread here:

If you want to sell it then stick it on ebay at 99c no reserve and it will find it's own price or alternatively once you have a price in mind advertise it here in the MTB for sale forum. Put some good pics and details in and someone will buy it. Be warned, you have to list it with a price or you will incur the wrath of the mods who will lock or delete your post as they see fit.
