Bontrager race from either 91 or 92 size med

this one is perfect for a single speed build it has the horizontal dropouts.
it has 2 very small hairline cracks, but could be repaired for cheap. I could even have it repaired before sending minus new paint of course. But the first crack is on the slot for the seatpost, it measures about 2.5 mm and my frame builder buddy says you dont really need to fix it, the other is around the wishbone seatube junction it is about the same size and again no need to really fix it as it should not grow. My buddy says he would fix it for $50 I just have not gotten to it yet. The paint on this is not that great but after repair this thing would be ready for new paint.

selling for cheap: $85

98 sid

It had the stock crown which I cut out because the steerer was cut too short for anything. I added a bontrager 1" crown which is also a bit short but fits a bontrager with a chris king headset and grip nut perfect. I also have a stock judy sl crown with a looong 1" threadless steerer that would work as well for this. The internals are all new, new o rings and a new negative cart (firm) and new seals. I also have the stock neg spring. I also ditched the stock top caps in favor of the non needle caps, I am including the adapter for a shock pump. The fork hold air perfectly, barely any scratches.

Also for Cheap: $100

White Bros UL-72 Fork 1 1/8th

good shape some scratches, still smooth and holds air for about 2 weeks could use some work but functions just fine, white Bros still services them.
steerer length is pictured.

$100

Real Design canti brake levers

$50

Cane Creek Crono Wheels

used but perfect shape hubs are turning ever so slightly purpley

$100

Have you got any pics of the cracks?

I presume the prices are US Dollars?

How much for postage?

sorry, dont know how to email you

i cant see the steerer tube of the white pictured, how long is it?

do you have a pic of the Cane Creek wheels? are they MTB or road? uups, i guess your mean the ones no the Bonti, right?

thanks, carsten

I think what you have there is a 90 as I'm sure the Horizontal dropouts had been dropped by 91, but unlikely to be earlier than 90 as you've got welded on cable guides. It could of course be a custom or employee bike; but I'd place it earlier with the horizontal dropouts.

I would point out though that they need a "proper" (non cnc / ally tat) skewer in there as it's all to easy to pull the wheel under power in to the stays.

Is it a respray, as black wasn't an option in 90 IIRC?

For 85 bucks I'd have that, but the divorce would cost a lot more :)
