I watched the England v Germany charity that he organised last week. He didn't look too bad then so this has come as quite a shock. They'll be some very sad Geordies out there. RIP.

I didn't rate his managerial skills too highly, but he always seemed a really nice guy, a gentleman. RIP fella.

A real shame, such a character too. 1 of the only few england managers i liked too.

Always liked Sir Bobby and from the stories people are telling on Talksport he seemed like a genuine salt of the earth type. The 1990 World Cup got me into football.
