i cant belive it there budget must be £100 its a joke met-rx must have pulled out
I kinda think it would be cool to have a Robocop-esque sponsorship - "Sponsored by OCP Pharmaceuticals - proud providers of performance enhancing drugs since 2050"

met-rx was bad enough!
Had a course of it a few years ago and suffered major palpitations for about 10 days. Improved my bench press considerably though!

They may as well go full on for the pharmaceutical sponsorship though, cos there's clearly no point in hiding it anymore (hasn't been for some years actually!)

Yeah and the final round could be called ROID RAGE where they all have a mass ufc type cage fight points for where they finish in the fight

just watched it, a 19 yr old lad cleand and pressed 150 kg 6 times! fffreak!
he must go through some amount of meat n tattys! (little HGH to!)

Not to worry, the real competition starts on boxing day (which was filmed in usa and in HD), the ones on Ch5 this week are just the qualifiers where they tend to go to more developing places.

There was no TV money until the final either so the qualifiers were filmed by more low budget tv companies as no one had put money up to air it until late on.

Don't know if you can tell but am a bit of a WSM fan
