Black V Brakes

I've decided that the Vuelta crap going on the kona just isn't right so I'm looking for some black Vs. I have cables and a set of Chicken stick levers so just want the brake units themselves.

Got to be black (or blue?) not silver and not too fussed about being high spec. Cheap as chips please but in servicible condition.

LX/XT maybe?

Not enough cable pull. They will be extremely spongey...

Problem I have is getting the outer cable stops for the lavadome to use cantis. Have cantis ready to go but no way to hold the outers back.

Thanks to Corduroyboy I have it sussed to keep the Cantis! YAY!!!! No need for Vs - just need to buy a front cable hanger (the one that attached to the steerer and holds the outer end. Rear end all sorted.


Man I love this place - a wander off course and you're pulled straight back inline!
