Out of curiosity: is the "black chrome" Pinarello used in the 1980's basically a cromovelato (a black transparant paint on a chromed frame) or was it done with a different process?
Ah, there's a point. I was thinking about my car modifying days 2000 ish when black chrome paint effects were used quite a bit. If it's chrome underneath then it's more of a metalized lacquer than the chromovelato of say Razesa or Willier.... Not to mention the old acryllichrome from Carlton lol
