Old School Grand Master
So this morning sitting by the pc saw a spesh stumpjumper up for sale on ebay..it had been mentioned on here

my friend is still unsure as to which bike he wants to sell his stump or rock so I felt he was going to keep both.

So impatient I thought I'd take a punt on the stumpjumper on ebay this morning..whilst looking I saw he also had an almost new, good condition diamondback topango 14 inch by the same seller..I thought great..Some kid or lady would like that so as the trip was a 90 miles there and 90 miles back then buy the stump, make a few quid on the diamond back to pay for the diesel and jobs a good un

until I get called out an hour before the auction end..so as traffic had been low on the bids I put a fair price on the stumpy and a silly low on the diamondback

the reason why I was called away lasted longer than I hoped and I arrived back home 15 minutes after the auction end for both bikes

only to find I lost the stumpy by 2 quid and won the diamondback for £12.50 :(

so now I am supposed to take a 180 mile round trip for a £12.50 bike..some days just happen worse than others

Local retrobiker to pick up? pay the £12.50 and write it off? hopefully the seller will see sense and give you back your money and relist it.

my own fault..see the funny side of it..'i'll probably contact the seller..pay what I owe and let them do what they want with it...still a lesson every now and again makes me pee my pants and keeps me humble-ish

pay it and offer it to the retrobike masses as a karma pick up?

sales I guess, put KARMA in capitals, should get you a pint someday anyway :)
