Just for interest, here is my shaft-driven Biomega.
3 speed Shimano Revoshift rear hub with rear coaster brake.

I wish they had designed it so that the cable entered from the top of the hub rather than having an ugly loop round to the bottom though.

that is sooooooooooo cool how does it ride ? does it feel any diffrent to a normal chain driven bike ?

It's called a drip loop - if you let a cable (note, not hose) enter directly from above, rain and crud will run down the outer and enter via the same route.

There is some loss of power input through the transmission, but I agree, it does look cool
