Bike tools

As it's been years since I did any real bike tinkering I find myself with out about 90% of bike specific tools.
As I don't plan on embarking on a bike building frenzy I was thinking of picking up one of these

or similar.
Would this be suitable for a little mid 90's bike tinkering, I'm aware they're not snap-on but are they just cheap rubbish for newer stuff?
Any opinions welcome.

Looks like a pretty good deal.

Not seen or used them before but i reckon for the price - if it breaks then no hard feelings.

Just be careful if you do buy that they wont kill you bolts and what not on the first use!

Thanks for that, I realise cheap allen keys are never a good thing but I have loads of them.
It was more for the bike specific tools, crank extractor and BB tools.
I'm not sure whats changed since the 90's.

The cone spanners look the same as the ones i use at home. The cassette tool and bb tool will be handy although it looks as if theyre for isis rather than shimano??

Has a chairing spanner which are ok but i always find they nip in enough themselves to tighten. The tri allen keys we use at work (although different ones) and is normally my go to tool as you can do most things with the (4/5/6mm). The spoke key is always god for rim brake wheel trueing and building but they look like the type to round so would be wary. Also has the tri socket tool which are also very useful aswell.

Not that much has changed. You have external bb now and v/disc brakes but the standard seems to be mostly 5mm allen head bolts.

you could probably buy better tools individually and not replicate what you have already via ebay crc and wiggle just shop around for the basics but get good basics i know it takes longer but the same kit you showed a like too is available from aldi for £9.99

Same tool, just a bigger hole in the middle for the larger ISIS/Octalink spindle & spacer washer thing.

I dont buy expensive ones but have been buying each as i need it and it adds up quick (the amount of tools).
