Selling 44 £500 bikes, but not selling any accessories or doing any repairs? :S

Annual turnover £22K! Let's be generous and say that's excluding VAT, still only £425 a week!
Still...it's the freehold you would be paying for.

Its not really a viable Business like that is it? You would have to be the only staff member and hope to hell the profit margins are fairly hefty - This line in the sales pitch is all you need to know:

this well known and highly regarded business which was established by the owner in 2010

best case scenario it has been going 18 months.

Am oot.

As your financial advisor I would say walk away...

Gross profit =revenue before overheads.

So 66% is £14250. And thats before utilities, business rates, tax, payroll,
VAT, transport..... I could go on.

If its in a densley populater area why couldn't they make any money,
and how many other bike shops are there in the town ?

I need to get out more.... maybe I should get into bikes !
