Bike for my son

Hello, I'm looking for a bike for my son who is growing up fast. He's 10 but has quite long legs. I was thinking of a 14" frame. Can anyone tell me what height a 14" bike would cover?

I'd have thought a 14" would suit up to a little over 5', maybe a little bit more depending on his body type.

Thank you that sounds good, as he's just short of 5ft. The bike he had is a single speed "Alien" something or other which his Mum got him last year and he struggles with it. Clearly he needs a size that is suitable.

Im building a small (14"ish) azonic DS1 for my lad who is nearly 7 but a bit tall for his age, certainly smaller than your 10 YO. Anyway, 24 inch wheels and size is fine, 26 inch were a bit tall, so you should be fine with a small size adult bike

Cheers, I am currently looking for a 15 inch bike, which should serve him for a year or so, unless he has another growing spurt!
