Picked this up at the weekend, needs a respray and some work on the seat tube clamp but other than that its pretty straight. I knew it was big but only when I put a tape on it did I realise how big - comes in at 28" c to top :o headtube is almost 11". Its biggest frame Ive ever come across so I thought I'd share it here.

Cheers

The seat stays, wow.

At another forum we talked about tall bikes, bikes with long headtubes. It seems a lot of good buys can be had on bikes that simply are too big and tall for most of us if stand-over height is important and that is why they are up for sale. I rode a bike that was slightly too big for awhile, even did some charity rides on it and though I still have the bike, one of my first road bikes, it is hard to go back to it unless it is urgent.

That is BIG! I've seen smaller frames with twin top tubes (one above the other) for extra rigidity.

Got a guy in our club with a big frame running an "extra" downtube, as per a mixte frame, middle of the headtube, middle of the seat tube, then (IIRC) an extra pair of stays.

He is about 120 kilos and 2m+ tall. And well built with it.

Think he managed to get a (massive) carbon cannondale to replace it with.
