I don't often pop into the off topic section, but I'm looking for important imformation. Does anyone own a bidet? My wife and I saw one t'other day and were wondering about the intricacies of using one. She said "Do you wipe and then rinse, or just rinse?" I said "What about the chunky bits?" We don't know anyone who owns one so I said I'd ask Retrobike for an informative opinion.

They are great for cooling down the 'ring of fire' after a night out and a curry.

You still have to dry after you have rinsed so wipe after I guess. Best for pre-shower dumps I suppose.

Turn the pressure up!!!.....

*edit to add* course there will be some wetness remaining that would need drying or you run the risk of nappy rash . . . but they are a bit more sanitary since you don't get involved with the smear campaign and potential nerve damage from traditional paper towel wipe-age. . .

Turn the temperature down!

In Turkey they have toilets that include a water jet for that essential aprés-dump rinse.

@XCDave: I think that Google might be more useful than the schoolboy humour of the RB readership... ;)
Don't think of it as schoolboy humour - think of it as retro humour ;-)
