Bicyclexpo 1993

Just been clearing out my old room at the parents house - about 18 years overdue!

Quite a lot of bike memorabilia surfacing, including a signed sketch of a Granny on a unicycle holding Harrison the Rabbit (!) by Jo Burt....photo to follow Pretty sure I got this at the Bicyclexpo '93 at Alexandria Palace.

Also just found a poster from the same Expo, and my ticket which is signed by Jo Burt (+ a little Mint sketch), Hans Rey, Caroline Alexander, Barrie Clarke, Jason McRoy (I also have a signed poster of him somewhere), Tim Davies, and two I can't make out....David M*****y? and Gary ***** (maybe Gary Fisher?)
I'll take a photo and see if anyone can decipher them!

As to the exhibition, I can remember watching a BMX backflip, and coming 3rd to Jason McRoy and Zak Tempest in an ice bike race - I would've had em too, but got shoulder barged by JMC on the final corner.

I also know that up in the loft there's about 5 years worth of MBUK (1990-1996ish), a full set of MTB Monthly (only lasted about 12 issues if I recall), and a load of random MBIs and MTB Pros.
Hopefully they're not too damp/mouldy :?

Front of the ticket with unknown signature.......*edit* it might be Fred Salmon?



Back of the ticket, unknowns are Gary .....? bottom left and David ......? in the middle. Barrie Clarke appears to have written 'who?' under the David, so he was either being serious or taking the piss and knew the person.

Think Jo was a bit thrown when I asked for the granny (and Harrison, which being my surname was a given) but he rallied to the challenge marvellously!
