I was very tempted by this when HS had it for sale. Finances dictated then and dictate now at £999.00 (starting F&F only) that it remains the same ... merely a temptation.

I would like to know from the Raleigh experts whether many of these were made? There's one in Nottingham that i've seen been ridden around, and I wouldn't mind getting hold of one at some point in the future.

Looks like some of it was original when Hillary sold it but its now been stripped

Must have gone under the radar of some of the museums. There was a Beryl Burton section at the National Cycle Museum it would have been better if they'd got their hands on it.

Lo pros like these you can probably count the numbers made on your hands and feet. I saw a nice Banana F+F go to Germany for 1100, so defo worth the money with the provenance.

How much did Hilary flog it for? Its not Graeme Obree hour record money but its still very nice (which will likely resurface soon at less than 5k..!)

Pretty sure that one's been up for since before xmas and I'm surprised it hasn't been snaffled. Top tube is too long for me, else I would probably have had a cheeky bid.

It's a few years back but I seem to recall it was about £1300? Certainly remember it meaning too many hours overtime to pay for it that's for sure!
