Hello people in my computer. I've only got back my mongoose amplifier I sold 20 odd years ago. Heavily repaired and worth nothing.....but it's mine! I think it'll be fine for a disused railway type ride. It has a repair on the top tube/head tube.....oh, and a o/s rear dropout made from steel???? This is why I got it cheap in about 96. I sold it to a mate, who never sorted it out, got divorced, put all his stuff in storage...then became a millionaire!! I got a phone call Monday from one of my mates who was clearing out his old factory "glen, your springy bike is here, do you want it? If not, I'm doing a dump run"
But the stickers!!! 25 year time warp.
Do I keep it as it is, patina and all....or polish it and remove those oh so rare unfaded retro stickers? It'll be worth nothing either way!!!
