..Barracuda Dirt jump bike from BITD when Barracuda had potential and before they made shitty shitty shiteness, nice light bomb proof frame in a very fetching purple, comes with Planet x bars, tioga cube stem, RST 381 EL forks, Red AME Grips, right shifter Sram attack 8 speed, left easyshift, Acera mechs , Deep V velocity rims on Quando hubs, Rear DX Brake, Tektro red lever. Hutchinson Coyote Tyres, no name chainset. Some scratches and scuffs to be expected.

However it requires a new rear rim as that one has exploded, Nice little bike that could be lovely with a new rear wheel

the rear has had it big eck, rim completely mashed and cracked, hub is ok, though some play in free hub body, have looked for a matching rim, but to no avail :cry: :cry:

i have this exact frame, its a barracuda ghetto. i got into biking when barrcuda got crap so only ever saw crap examples of barracudas, this was just before that time and im astonished at the abuse its held up with, ive mashed a couple of mavic rims on this frame, the frame is fine! nuts!

its a nice frame alright, no dents dings minor scratches, i thought these things would weigh a ton but it is really light, even with the lower end bits that are on it, some nice touches too, the "b" support thing between tubes, square chainstays etc

I've got a Barracuda Subway frame & have only good things to say about that too - respectably light (so much so I'm thinking of building it back up as wives/girlfriends small XC bike ) & amazingly strong

That runs beautifully on 24s too

I want fifty quid (give or take) for that frame though (paid three times that!), so this is a stooopid bargain - even by CharlieBoy standards!

If you've still got those wheels with the slicks I could swap you a pair of deep-V wheels for them & then you could pass on that front wheel to a new home...?
