Back from the storage

I had to go to the storage today and brought back 2 bikes which have been "forgotten" be me,..

It is a EASTON and a Ti (Rob van der Mark Build)
The Easton rides pretty fine extually,..i thomk i will use it tomorrow to go to work,.. i hate the brakes by the way,..wil replace these by spare XTR v-Brakes

The Ti ,..i have this now for 8 years or so,..if i say i rode it 100km in that period i think it might be a high guess.
The brown stuff is not durt but dust...
It is kinda a nice build,..welds are amazing,..parts are Magura (metal) , Titec Ti Stem, Chris King, Spynergy, XTR, Roox Cranks ( WRA) Thomson seatpost, Simplon Ti Post, Pace Fork....But is do not like the ride that much,..

i have bikes standing in the storage which have never been ridden by me,..

By the way,..this bike was used for some time by a friend,..he now uses my Koga explosion ,..and he had the headset (King) replaced by Cane Creek because he liked the carbon look better :evil: The dealer took the King and the friend was surprised the he did not had to pay the Cane Creek,..
Now i see the pictures, i do not know if i like the stem that much,..maybe replace that one to,...

Agree on the stem front, looks too 'chunky' IMO.

What are those forks BTW? Look similar to RC-30's, but I'm confused by the crown :?

i think this was the one of the first,..year?,..6 years ? :roll:

i think i just go for a normal black syncros stem,...round will look much better i think

Defiant, I think for the betterment of this forum next time you nip over to your storage, take camera with you and snap away. That way you're less likely to forget what you have, and we get the benefit of a good look round your full collection. Eveyone's a winner

Not seen the Starbike hydraulic v-brakes in action before either. Seen pics, but never actually on a working bike. How good are they?

If you get the adjustment right they work great, it is best of both worlds; V-braks and Hydrolic,...nevertheless,..i will replace these by some spare XTR V-brakes i have lying around.
I can not get the starbike wendler brakes lined out nicely for some reason.... i think i do not have the patience right now, and i also do not like hydrolic tubes,..they are not as tight looking a normal brake cables,..and they tend to make noice when you ride over irregular surface
