This is on eBay right now: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....m=290236590227&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=019

so, it should probably be in the other forum, but I mean, look at it, its so SWEET! I remember reading about this in, maybe MBUK, or possibly MBi, does anyone have the article?

its got to be up there in the rareness stakes, and its nice to see a 'Special Edition' that isnt just a boggo 'MTB' with some new stickers on (Colin McRae - RIP - Kona anyone?)

anyone know anything else?

(btw, Im not bidding, its too big for me)

I can't remember the year (but 1994 sounds quite exact), but shortly before his death Senna signed a competition bicycle line for Carraro.
This one looks the top model, which if I remember is made out of Columbus Genius. Carraro has been a top Italian builder for many years, and their steel bikes were among the best (they stopped the steel production). So it should be a good catch - a bit expensive, tho....
Just for your curiosity, I'm racing a titanium Carraro: the factory is still alive and kicking

These were part of the 'Senna 'driven to perfection'' range. This is where Senna put his name and logo (my avatar) to products of superior quality in the quest for perfection. There were quite a few products he endorsed prior to his death in May 1994 at Imola. These included an MV Agusta (worth a fortune today), a range of Tag Heure watches (still in production)and these mtb's. There was a documentary on this and I remember Senna being shown around the Carraro factory, inspecting the workmanship as he went. I think they presented him with a black and grey one if memory serves me right, like the MV below.
