Was just wondering what the difference was between the above I know the arch supremes have the extra bit that looks like a brake booster but other than that know nothing, which ones best?, and are they a lot better than my single ti's? just curious, this is what working late does to you lol

Arch Supremes came before the Ultimate (Black Ops).

IMO, they're both much of a muchness power wise. Basically both very good.

Arch Supremes are a bit easier to set up, the dial that allows you to centre them is a good design. But they suffer more in bad conditions due to the arch obviously.

Personally I have found them to be the best V's. XTR's are pretty much as good, but suffer with rattles as they get older.

Have also found the beautiful but flawed and hugely expensive Avid Ultimate levers to be not as good and more rattley than both XTR and basic Avid SD levers to be honest....

...but they do look cool. :-)

avid arch supremes works better than a disk brake or any ather brake.

the best brake i know.

 That's quite a statement there! I assume you're being humourous!
Haven't tried Supremes etc, but I found Ultimates to be a little better than SD7's, but not worth £80 a pair seconhand, let alone £80 each , new, + levers.
If you're stuck with rim brakes, they're worth a try, but for reliable power in all conditions, it's discs everytime.

Don't get me wrong, I love 'em, got three sets. But I'm not sure I'd go that far.

Do you know what they're like in comparison to something like my Avid single Ti's?, lol on my downhill bike thats sadly now been sold I ran a hope 6mono on the front so am with you on the V's not being the same stopping power as disks. I'm wanting to keep my giant fairly retro by keeping with Vee's that and I love my spinergy Spox too much and they're not disk compatible lol.
