Aussie made forks?

I’m pretty sure these are Australian made Edson forks (or something like that). I bought a set that were going cheap at my LBS about ’98. Even though they are really well made and they were rubbish to ride. They just had one long blue elastomer in each leg with no rebound control plus they really jack the front up with a long axle to crown measurement and had bugger all travel. The bloke in the LBS said they were unpopular with shops because the company would bring out a new model while the shops still had stock of the older model.
I would be tempted to buy them as a curiosity thing only – but at half the price.

I saw that one too. The are exactly the same as a pair of Edsans I have here, but with a different brace. I was tempted, but only at half the price. Curious about the spring/elastomer internals mentioned, as mine have two (or 3 ?) elastomers each leg, supplied in three different hardnesses, so you can mix & match. I have requested a pic of the internals, will follow up here if I get a responce.
