Bannings, whether useful or not, are not taken lightly. Not all is visible, and believe me, benefit of doubt has been given many times in this case.

The number banned to date has been thankfuly small.


As always, key thing to remember is that this is a public forum open to all. Treat it as such, ask questions, use your gut feel, ask about - most know others on here now, check the feedback, search old posts etc.

If someone comes up with three posts then ads a load of stuff for sale, doesn't take Poirot to figure that theres some risk here.

I got some wheels from Konamad, took a while to arrive, fair enough 'cause they wernae essential, gave him the benefit of the doubt (as it seems did too many of us), but my view is if ye put summat up for sale, ye should be prepared for sendin' it off soon as ye have time to get it to the post ofice.

Think everyone has had their say here so I'll lock it now. The last word will is a mods privelege.

As Gump says these decisions aren't taken lightly. He had plenty of warnings, shots accross the bows and even temporary. It's actually quite hard to get banned

Konamad wasn't a scammer per se. But when it came to messing people around he was our foremost expert, we had more complaints against this user than ANYBODY else. The 'two' complaints magicmistertea has read on the forum are the tip of the iceberg. My inbox and that of the other mods have been full of km complaints on occasion.

He won't be back. We can ban by IP, email address along with other means. Plus I think most know his real name....

Buying and selling for profit on the forum is another discussion. I'm not sure it's quite the ethos we try and promote here but on its own and not taken to the extreme it isn't a reason to ban people.
