How times have changed, a 5 speed 'racer' and the BB gun and a real live air pistol and oh look I still have one of those, a Leifheit 'Regulus' floor and carpet sweeper, ( excellent tool and despite a bit of rust, it still works and does the job demanded of it).

Lots of other stuff I recognise from the past.

sooo interesting, that, and when you think that's 36 years ago, the prices for stuff now could almost be forgiven for being 'cheap' by comparrison..

Oh, and the fact that you could buy air-pistols in there is quite funny..

Hey, the floor sweeper I mentioned, they come up at Lidl's sometimes, the exact design listed there and they sell for about £10 to £15. I have a laminate floor now, so the sweeper is not needed, but am not getting rid of it, too useful and too fool proof.

I clearly remember being a toddler and using one of those long orange rectangular hoovers as a ride-on toy... times were hard back then!
