Just a note.
My work changed it's code from 270 to 008. But even though I had told them 008. We were still getting them. Because the old code was still working. Once i gave the old 270 code. Then the faxes stopped

Good stuff, for years I've been getting faxes and haven't had a fax machine since the 90's :roll: less so now but still get the odd few.

Used to get some of these, but I had a great 'get your own back' that I used.

I used to get two sheets of A4 and tape them together, then write 'F.ck you' on it. Feed the paper through the Fax machine and tape it back on itself to form a loop. Now phone back the fax number and leave for the evening......

..uses up miles of paper and ink at their end!

While you are on the subject the same company provides MPS (Mailing Preference Service) to stop junk mail coming thru your door and TPS (Telephone) to stop unwanted phone calls. Technically if you are registered for MPS and TPS and you STILL get calls and junk mail the sender/caller can get prosecuted...
