Anyone who knows Mavic SUP rim history?

Hi

The other day I was very lucky to pick up a '96 Attitude in painted desert......in size L!! :-D No wheels....the seller wanted to keep his Spinergy wheelset.

I want to build the bike close to period correct and I am wondering if anyone knows what Mavic SUP rims was sold in '96. I seem to remember that it was 217 but I'm not sure.

A friend of mine also have some NOS SUP 517 lying around. Would it be totally wrong to build the bike with these?

.....and while we are on the subject....any suggestions as to what hubs to use? I really want to find some King hubs but I guess they are hard to find?

How about Tune Mig & Mag hubs?

Maybe.....I have never really been into Tune. Looking into it.

I really used to dream about Hugi hubs...........great sound!!
