Trying to help out a Lithuanian neighbour who doesnt speak very good english so it is awkward.

He has a Vauxhall (well opel i guess) omega with a gas conversion. He is asking me if i know where he can get an adapter for the nozzle.

any ideas?

Where does he buy his Gas from? or does he push his car around?

That would be his first port of call, bad English or not they will understand what he's on about!!

al. :D

Which nozzle? if it is the one to the gas bottle, the bottle should be secured, otherwise it is illigal in this country. Try a forklift company, many of them run on LPG.

There are a few on offer here:

Lithuanian ....gas bottles..new to the country...

My advice , move before his place blows up and takes yours with it.

If his car is gas converted and he fills it up why would he need an adapter?

sounds like he is trying to jerry rig something with the enivitable consequences to follow...stay well clear on the advice front

there is a bloodu good reason why these should only be dealt with by licensed places

Erm.......no. This is perfectly normal. He is talking about an adaptor, so that our forecourt gas pumps will lock onto the fitting on his car. Any motorhome company, LPG fitter should be able to sort him out. UK folks travelling on the continent also need adaptors.

cheers guys.

he is a good lad and i hope i can help him out. i dont think he is doing anything dodgy.
