Anyone ride a Whyte hardtail?

Of any description but mostly interested in the 19.
Are they all SS able?
What with the funny BB's?
Any personal ride reviews....steel/alloy??? Ti?

The Whyte 901 and 905 have conventional dropouts.

The 19 has the slider-type dropouts so should be able to be ss'd without a tensioner. The BB they use is a BB30 which is becoming more common. They essentially use larger bearings pressed directly into the BB shell (think Shimano HTII bearings, without cups, pressed in Klein style).

my mate paully had one ,a 901 i think ,bought it for 24hr racing
loved it for the first few weeks then hated it bought a giant anthem
that he has just sold on too

i had a brief shot on it, it was fine ,looks nice tho
prefer my carbon zaskar
