Anyone own a Ducati Monster 696?

Reading around a few sites online, there seem to be plenty of taller riders on 696s. I've read there is a touring seat option that gives a bit more distance between the seat and pegs.

I'd need to actually ride one to know, just canvassing opinion if there's anybody with direct experience.

i test rode the bigger one last year
absolutley hated the riding position
those low wide forward bars
not bad bike tho bit wheezy

bought a ktm instead

I had same concerns.
Id be keen on riding the longer version though.

6' with a 32" inseam

my 750 fits fine. didn't care much for the stock bars so I changed em for cycle cat clip ons
