Arranged to pick a bike up that rents had bought off the bay... well, said bike has been sat in my Garage for the last three months and all my messages to him are in my outbox... he has paid though!

Anyone here in contact with him?

Really weird he's not been in touch, it's quite a tidy retro road bike... think he paid around a hundred quid for it..

We get this at work.
People have their cycles foxed yet some of them have been there for 6 months or more.

Just been doing a bit of research on it... Dave Russell was a frame builder working out of Slough and had a pretty good rep, hand building over 3000 frames in a 30 year career.

The lugs and fork crown are real nice... Group is pretty much 105, with a weird Mavic crank and a Campag seatpost. Front wheel is a handbuilt Dave Russell Mavic hub/rim. Rear needs binning unfortunately.. quango rubbish.

I think I might tidy it up a bit... sure rents won't mind when he finally gets in touch. With four unanswered messages to him, I think I've done enough chasing!
