I got 4/7th dragoon guards red tunic and trousers and a german ? grey tunic with green piping and funny bone looking buttons on it.

looks like a yankee hat too ? but that might be a reproduction

Anyone on here be able to identify era year of both if i put pics up ?
The german one is meant to be a chaps grand fathers and he's pushing 60.

Ive always wanted a Fairburn-Sykes F-S Fighting knife a proper period correct one just such a nice piece of kit, a true design classic.

I want to get an Emmerson Knife. They seem very expensive over here but when I find somewhere I can look at the range, will get one anyway.

Excellent people to deal with and posting skills to match crc. Except the oversize packaging :lol: .
 
Here's a pic of the Fox...flash makes it look worse than it is, it does not look red surface rust. There is one small spot where rust has made a small bubble but that would come out. Anyone seen one before, i have no idea but think the military used Fox. It is leather scabbard with canvass front.

Good place to ask about sharp pointy things is britishblades.com. Another forum that has that strange cash draining effect as this place does.
