Anyone carried a longbow on a bike?

Bit random I know! I'm trying to eliminate car use for local journeys and one of the things I do is reenactment archery. I think I can just strap the bow in line with the top tube but any creative ideas are welcome. Bow is 6ft long and slightly curved.

Carried fishing rods along top tube so dont see why not

I don't see a problem, seen people with surfboards strapped to their bike! so I imagine a longbow would be quite doable.

Shouldn't be a problem at all. Stick a rack on the bike and you can likely support the bow almost it's entire length. I've carried carpets, 5 foot mirrors (4 in one go once), chainsaws etc on my bike.
