Anybody know much about amp forks?

bought an old proflex to ride around whilst i finish my build, and came across these forks which i don't know much about..

if anyone knows the history, like which bikes they were fitted to, would be good to know

i only remember girvin forks being fitted.
these amp ones are in v good condition also.

rest of the bike has xt and some great xtr cantis

Those are F3s, bonded aluminium legs. Nice, light forks.

What do you want to know?

I've a set of F2s going on a lightweight build. They're a bit of a marmite fork, people seem to either love or hate them. I think they're the epitome of 90's bike innovation (Beautiful, functional, but a dead-end design).

If you're ever thinking of switching to V brakes, I've been trying to get hold of one of those canti hangers for a while... :lol: :lol:

i'll be stripping this in a couple of weeks when my main build is complete so willbe carefull with the outside bolts on the forks .

do like the look of them though and when i rode today they felt good.
