Any mtb wheels

Right, have said I would build a bike for a friend of a friend, expecting he might want a singlespeed/fixed. But no, he wanted an mtb, which I know nothing about, just about got it finished and need a cheap 26" wheelset, can anybody help?

Not too bothered as long as it's cheap, would prefer a cassette to screw on freewheel..

Vuelta scouts with vuelta tyres £40 posted 100% true
alex rims with tyres £30 posted need straightening slightly out or true if i remember correctly
araya and mavic set with tyres £30 posted rear missing a spoke and rear wheel is slightly out of true probably because of spoke

let me know if any of these catch your eye and we can work out something
