Sure, no problem. Also the rear brake cable is way too long.

under the BB should be a serial number with DoM

on the top left rear of the BB 'may' be a sticker
model, paint colour, size

hi

i'm stripping-cleaning-relube a 1985 Peugeot i just bought

like yourself i looked for info - UK and French catalogs, databases, forums etc etc

this evening cleaning the rusty bottom of the stem - it's stamped 06 85

this DoM location was NOT mentioned anywhere i had looked - worth a look.?

Thanks for the information, having trouble with the front wheel at the moment, either the spanner I bought it off has sent the wrong one or he's been bending the forks to be able to get the wheel in because the bearing casing is wider than the forks themselves so not a clue how he thinks it's going to fit in there!!
