Any bets on the weather end of May start of June....

As we're going on holiday in the lakes (not in,around ).........looks like weather may still be rather unsettled ????? :?

With snow showers forecast in East Angular mid-May.. unsettled may be a bit of an understatement :?

I am considering asking FairfaxPat if he will adopt me. 3 weeks of persistant rain, Flood Alerts, forgotten what it was like to ride a bike in the dry.

I was there in the lake district in June last year and weather was good but there was a day when is hissed down.....that's hills for you i guess.....don't want to be stuck in the cottage all the time.

The weather here at the end of May through November will be sunny and warm!

I wish it was like that here........they were threatening 'the summer of 76' all over again.....but right now we have floods and it's a wee bit chilly ! :? still the cottage we booked has a log fire yey !

Better than our last holiday Aug 07 :shock: we don't watch TV so didn't know the Cotwolds were under water ! (oh and the 1st camp site had closed down, not ok when you arrive at 10.00pm after walking 12 miles) 3 days peeping out of a crack in the tent (yes we walked /camped) was enough so we just booked into the nearest b and b and dried out.

Another month of this and I'm moving abroad!
I'd go out in the mud, but I'd be breaking the law by using my hosepipe to clean it after I get home :roll:
