Frame size 18" centre to top, seattube 16" centre to centre, top tube 22.5" centre to centre.

Frame is dated November 93.

It has three main issues,

It has had a repair on the chainstays behind the bottom bracket, this has consisted of a weld and a plate top and bottom (i think the damage was caused by chain suck/jamb), repair is sound and looks like it was done a while ago so if it was going to cause any problems would have done before now, repair has covered the lovely CNC machining on the stays though.

one of the water bottle bosses on the downtube has detached.

There are a couple of tiny hair cracks on the rear fork crown on two of the thin webs (highlighted by the red tape as they wouldn't show in the pics), fork crown is still strong though and these shouldn't cause any problem.

There are three dents on the top tube, one on the top and two on the left hand side, the ones on the side are not imidiately obvious due to the stickers though.

Thats it really, frame is very sound and useable as it is, no evidence of cracks on the headtube or bottom bracket shell.

Frame
Forks
Chris King Devolution headset
Blue Ringle 135mm stem
Special XT front mech
Ringle/Answer seatpost
Special seatclamp (these frames have a 38mm seat tube)
Firm Speed springs in both forks

Jimihendrix had this bike build up and was being used for six months, ive just had it hung in the garage

A sound useable manitou FS.

Repair looks good and strong. 8)

Unfortunately, Those dents are worse than I'd imagined..

Also the rear shock crown doesn't look overly well.

I'm sorry mate, I'll have too pass.

mikeekim89,

You almost took all the great frames of the week :)

But what a petty this Manitou :(

Crud
You can take almost £50 for each of thoes dents and cranks on my opinion, sorry :(

mike i have taken some very good photos with the light just right can you see the dents in ths first two photos? they are on the left side.

the two cracks have been there a long time they cant propogate anywhere because there are already through the web there is plenty of strength left in the corwn besides this part is replacable.

anyway this is why the frameset is priced as it is, quite cheap for a useable frame with no cracks in the headtube or bb area,
