Another RRA thread

Enjoying the Rim thread for the 1948 RRA .This brought on a long standing idea /wish.
I have a early 1980's RRA frame with rough paint work ....Ice green .

Re paint it in one enamel colour possibly maroon and use the early transfers from the 1940s
.Would this be just wrong :?:
Rebuild would be with 1980s parts

only a passing thought so far. :idea:

Sounds wrong to me. Keep it authentic and keep it 80s. Did they do a maroon or dark red?
