Holuy holy holy christmas...

1 day listed and already 2200 euro's....where the heck are we going....

Wow, the prices for Kleins have really been going through the roof lately...

This Gator Adroit is very lovely and with a sweet parts spec, I can imagine it fetching ~3500€...

Yes a GATOR in medíum- thats the top off all.

But which guy can drive a no rise in 150mm, thats absolut too long.

It will not be cheep, but 3500 is absolute too much.

Would you pay 70% of the new price for a 15year old car?

Happy trails

BTW: i am proud to have my GATOR, so i am very amused about the process that is in action now . It will burn holes in some pockets.

Wow, 4500€ and still 5 days to go!
I think that after a short calm period this year, the prices for vintage Kleins are getting out of control...

GATOR

Hallo Guys

I have seen a lot at ebay, but i think this is a fake auction. Or the seller plays a very nice game with us ebayers

I cannot believe this.
5 years ago a medium GATOR full rigid went for 2500 Dollars into my stable.

What has changed ?

Happy trails

True True!!! Doesn't make sense at all, guys! Looks like a fake auction to me as well!

Cheers and happy new year!

Part I find strange, apart from the price, is that it's local pickup only. If someone were willing to offer me that much for a bike, I imagine that I would be willing to bring it to a bike shop and have them pack it, even if it costs me 75 euros to do so.

You know what, to me this doesn't actually seem that bad. . . I mean guys, look at the stuff on it, the spengles, the billett mechs and stuff, I mean this is all top drawer kit, and just where do you buy some spengles from now?? Sometimes now, if we need some kit, we have to do radical things, like take a chance, buy the whole deal, and try and claw back most of what you invested just to get the bits you need. And even at what the asking is at the moment, I still think you could see all that back by breaking it.. . ..

And the analogy with the car doesn't add up. most cars you're right, aren't worth 75% of the ticket price 10 years on. But this isn't most cars. . . Show me a 'vintage' ferrari, lotus, - Vincent motorcycle or Albatross boat that isn't now a multiple of its original price. This isn't just some old Halfords special, or Ford hatch back. This was special then, and will stay special now. Like fine wines, stuff form a vintage year just appreciates.

but yes, I think at that sort of money he'd pack it for €70 at the local bike store :?:

just my thoughts on the matter, but if its too much dough, stand aside and don't bid. . . .
