more like 20 years old and were never £780 new

but, its always possible. bike shop near me moved after 20 years and had loads of NOS low end bikes from storage.

I like where he says LX kit, yeah 300LX but most will think Deore LX. Also like LGF says no way £780, more like about £280.

Mountain LX rear mechs mainbodys were silver-black-silver as the chainset looks like 300LX (as it is a Satin one), I am thinking 300LX. The Deore LX STi's were similar to the lower LX ones but had rubber covers and those appear to not be there.
Saying that though if he'd take say £90 or £100 I reckon it would be a nice start into retro biking.
