That's looking good, but the finish is going to have to be WAY better than that for anodising.

Paint stripper and a toothbrush should make short work of the paint around the welds though.

you can get cloth polishing wheels for a drill, go and get two with some polishing compound, itll make short work on the main tubes.

but do that after you brillo pad it, and use a lot of water.

Mr Muscle oven cleaner gets anodising off! Can't remember where I read that initially but I tried it on a friend's Campag' chainset... which turned a horrible mottled dark grey! Yikes! However, after a quick polish with Duraglit it came up almost like chrome plate. Just don't leave the Mr Muscle on too long!

Cheers

Mr Mussel eh!! Have to try a bit when I get another 5 (Hours) Thanks :) ..

Going to make sure its spot on before it goes to the Anodisers.... Its a nice frame and they don't make like this anymore
weight of frame is sub 3lb so I reckon that this will build up nice , Am looking for a sub 20lb cross country build.. No lighter than 18Lb thought as any lighter is toooo light ...

Thanks for the tips lads and encouragment.. its not an easy job but someone has to do it.. and hey ! its wet , and its the end of my work season so need something to keep me occupied till feb... :D :D

Unless you got any gardens you want landscaping or designing.. !!
