lovely frame
I confess I can't get accustomed to these crankset though :-(
seems to me the designers got carried away by I dunno what - "designry" - "fashion" - you have to change the crankset so the old good looking ones look out od date ????

may be you are correct, but I'm plenty of Campagnolo groupsets on several bikes, and so I want to change something, and now I can say that I prefer japanese precision instead of campy aesthetic.

I won't contradict you on that  I love Dura Ace

but to me dura ace 7400 or 7700 are the ones
the 7800 crankset is the start of the "demise"

I like it a lot, what year do you think?

I can live with Shimano chainsets its the shifters I don't like...!
