An old newbie

Hi, got told about the site by a friend after we got together
for a ride last Sunday and after he stopped drooling over my
bike he said I should join up. I bought a Roberts frame in 1994
fitted with RC35's, XT and hope hubs.
She's had a respray and been raced in SAMS and
taken her up and down Skidaw and Table mountain.
Hadn't ridden off road for quite a while and forgot how much
I loved it. Definitely gonna get dirty more.

Hi Chris Welcome to the site.

When you have a chance get yourself over to the Readers MTB's forum and post some piccies of your Roberts.

Note that posters with <5 posts cannot post pic's but you can get around that by using an online photo site like Photobucket, then use the Img tag in the full editor to link to it.

BTW - just to warn you - if you buy something from here expect it to be the start of a slippery slope.

What Chris didn't say was that the frame was custom built and beautifully fillet brazed.

I don't know Dropbox but in photobucket you copy & paste the img string of each picture into your post on here.
