seeing the name mentioned on another thread brought back memories of the first pair of stubby bar ends i had on an old giant (nothing special, a gsr400 iirc) one of the shops i used to use had a wall full of their stuff, bar ends, bars, stems etc.

as high school aged kids with nothing but paper round money to throw at parts, they were a good after market brand for a lot of kids at my school to 'customise' their low end / catalogue pride & joy's to make them different to the kid next doors but the killer question... was any of it actually any good and is it worth anything if i were to come across an old bike with few bits on there.

what would todays equivalent be?

It was ok stuff in a cheap kinda way think Tranz x or club roost doubt it would be worth much today didn't cost a lot then I had an amoeba stem on an early dh bike before the likes of azonic got in on the act iirc

I think amoeba surfaced after 2000.. Cheap but OK. I also used to have stem on my trials bike.

nope - gotta be late 90's with my known timeline of the bits i had!

I heard you had to have had only one brain cell to be able to buy the stuff!!?!

Kidding of course!
