American cycles

I have build several early 90s alu bikes and always found the ride too harsh. It kept me from building up An American comp lite frame but I have to keep myself busy so decided to do a simple single speed build.
I took it out for a ride today and was surprised how good it performed. I rode 43 km of which 2/3 MTB trails and only stopped because I exhausted myself.

Any other members out there that ride a American? They arent too common, did most people back in the day buy a klein instead?

Never heard of the brand. Probably wasn't sold in my part of Canada.

I have to say that this bike rides just amazing.
Give it a try if you ever have the chance.
Usually they are not very pricey. My frame was sold here
for arround 50 quid what was more than a bargain if you ask me.
