Ambrosio clincher models

Can anyone help me work out which is the better of these Ambrosio rims please?

Good point. On a Colnago Master for road use involving a fair bit of climbing.

Their Evolution is very good and strong. The Super Elite is heavier. The Nexus was more of a track rim if i remember correctly.

Excelight is the 450g double eyeleted racing rim. For a colnago this rim seems more fitting.

Unfortunately I don't have any Excelight rims to choose from.

I've put a set of Mavic Open Pro wheels on it, but looking to keep a spare set.

Can anyone enlighten me as to the difference technical between track rims and road rims please?

Track rims have no brake track. Road rims are designed to last 1000 of miles, track rims need to do a few laps of a track and will not be braked.
