R Rampage Retrobike Rider Feedback View Dec 2, 2014 #3 Those stems are lethal. I stripped and painted mine and checked for cracks, after one ride I moved it to hoover the floor underneath the bike and it made a zig-zag crack on the bar clamp around 1" long.
