Almost had a bad crash on my road ride last night

Downhill secrion into a left hander, guy went by in the opposite direction riding (?) one of these. My brain stopped functioning for a few seconds and I almost went off the road.

I saw a guy riding up a big hill on one of those. I was riding down the hill on my fixie trying (and failing) not to use the brake.
